Problem Statement for the Project: How might we integrate the unique resources of Campus Health and Wellbeing into an interactive mobile application to improve student accessibility and increase awareness?
The amazing team I worked with included project managers: Kylie Wong, Anais Gomez and Jessica Misaki-Mason. As well as fellow designers: Andrew Doud, Mahati Subramaniam and James Irwin.
In this 7-week project to create a final working high-fidelity web prototype of the app, a partial rebrand (color, logo, type).
The process was: user research and narrowing scope, competitive analysis & user flow, ideation & design system creation, and prototyping & user testing – with iteration happening at every stage of the process.
I further contributed through my work on the user flow for the campus Food Pantry, as well as creating logo extensions to suit Campus Health
and Wellbeing, while staying within Cal Poly’s existing design system.
The final project outcome was quite inspiring. The
work we did helped me connect and grow as a
professional.
As someone who likes to wear many hats a designer
this opportunity has allowed me to expand as a
creative and further my cross-disciplinary skills.
The working prototype is viewable here.
